    • You are using the latest version of the app
    • There are no Internet or app restrictions set by your administrator

    Opening files on your PC

You can open existing Present Express (.present) files saved on your PC by going to Menu > Open > Browse this PC.

Find out details about an opened file

Once you've opened a file from your PC, go to Menu > Info to see details about the file. From this tab, you can do things such as copy the file path and open the file location in File Explorer.

Open other files in the same folder

To open other files in the folder in which the current file is stored, click on a folder in the section titled 'File location' and choose a file to open from the list, if there are any compatible files available.

View the properties of the file

In the 'Properties' section, you can see the size of the file, as well as the dates that the file was created, last modified and last accessed. The duration of time that the file was opened is also displayed.

    Recent and favourite files

You can quickly access your recently-viewed and most-loved files in the app.

To open a recent or favourite file, go to Menu > Open, choose either 'Recent files' or 'Favourites' and select a file from the list. Right-clicking on a file gives you more options, such as removing it from the list, copying the file path to the clipboard and opening the file in File Explorer.
